If you prefer a more accurate way of measuring for your custom made to measure shirt, you can also provide the measurements of your best fitting shirt. For these measurements, you do not need to add any room for movement; this will be close to an exact copy of your best fitting shirt.
Please ensure that you indicate which type of measurement that you have taken on the measurement form.
1.       Collar - Start with the collar by laying your collar flat and measure from the center of the collar button to the far end of the button whole.

2.       Chest – With the shirt buttoned, lay the shirt flat. Then measure from the left seam to the right seam just below the sleeves.

3.       Waist – With the shirt buttoned and laid flat, measure from the left seam to the right seam at the waistline.

4.       Hip – With the shirt buttoned and laid flat, measure from the left seam to the right seam at the base of the shirt.

5.       Arm – With the shirt laid flat, measure the sleeve in the bicep area from the side to side.

6.       Sleeves – With the shirt laid flat, measure on the outer part of the sleeve (opposite of the sleeve seam), measure from the edge of the shoulder starting at the seam to the end of the cuff.
a.       If your sleeves are not the same length, measure and indicate the right and the left sleeve.

7.       Yoke – Measure from the distance between bottom of the collar to the top of the sleeve, along the shoulder seam.

8.       Back – Measure across the back from one edge of the shoulder seam to the other.

9.       Cuffs – With the cuff laid flat, measure it from one end to the other.

10.   Shirt length – With the shirt laid flat, measure from the bottom of the collar to the base of the shirt, down the middle.
